The biggest online gaming event in the country was the battleground for 7 prestigious nationwide tournaments, including the RF's Novus Elite Squad Tournament 2011. The champion of CUS VI (CRW) fought tooth and nail with the best of NCAS (MUTINY)for the rights to claim the NEST Championship crown. In the end, Team Clan Rogue Wolf came out victorious, claiming the RF NEST 2011 Championship crown.

RF Online: The War Rages On!

This year, we have seen the best of the best from each race from each dimension. The three races were pitted against each other in battles no mere Novus mortal has ever seen before. The road to victory was harsh, difficult and strenuous as each team vied for the coveted title of City Under Siege Ultimate Champion and the Novus Chip Assault Squad Champion. Indeed, it was not an easy road to take.

But will all odds against them, heroes and victors stood out among the rest. And as it seems, fate has its own funny way of showing her control over the destinies of these warriors. For once again, we must stand in awe at the presence of last year’s Novus Elite Squad Tournament Competitors as they meet each other once more at the Illusion Bowl Arena to test out their abilities and prove whether history can repeat itself or whether they can change and bend it to their will.

On one side, we have the veterans, the Clan Rogue Wolf. They have been playing this game ever since the Novus Elite Squad Tournament has been formed and they were the Champions during its first year. They are comprised of the crème de la crème of their race for they have had years of experience as well as an unyielding resolve and drive to excel and bring glory to their race, the Bellato Federation. Indeed, they are still hopeful that this be the year that they bag the title of NEST Champion. With their experience, they were able to take the prize as the Novus Chip Assault Squad Champion. But will this be enough? Will their experience and tenure in the game be enough to make them worthy and become victorious?

On the other end of the battlefield come the title holders, Mutiny. This team has been made infamous by their motto, “Haters make us famous.” They have been pelted with hate, envy and ridicule by some in their race and by other races as well but this has not stopped them to grab hold of the win. Their aggression and no-holds-barred-trash talk strategy has earned them the right to be hated and thus with the anger of their opponents toward them, they are able to use this as a weakness against them for they do not lose focus of their objective. They are rebels and as such, they are ready to take on whoever their opponent may be. This trait has made them the City Under Siege Ultimate Champion. But will hate be their downfall this year? Or will it be the trump card that will bring them to victory once more?

Experience versus Strategy. Veterans versus Titleholders. This is no battle of mere pawns and soldiers. This has become a war between kings. Will the Kings of Game Experience be victorious? Or shall we crown the Kings of Strategy as the NEST Champion?

The altar found at the very end of the Elan Plateau was said to be the lair of the terrible monster, called Dagnue. It was discovered that at certain times of the week, the moons of the Planet Novus will align against the central star and the light of the edge of the eclipse would pass by this altar and summon the dreaded monster from within the depths of Novus. Before, he was feared and none were able to defeat him. But soon, the three races were able to figure a way on how to defeat him.

Several explorations have been made and it has become a mission for all Novus Recruits to take down Dagnue and his mutant brothers before they can escape Elan Plateau and wreak havoc in Novus. Though there were many times that they have escaped the Plateau and have made a close call in destroying several structures in one or all three races’ headquarters, they were ultimately destroyed by the combined forces of the Holy Alliance of Cora, the Bellato Federation and the Accretian Empire. Though Dagnue dies, it is believed that somewhere, somehow, his DNA is kept and whoever is pulling the strings has unleashed Dagnue’s clones again and again to disrupt the lives of Novus Citizens.

But there were several reports of a massive ship that landed on Elan Plateau and it bore the emblem of the Kartella Corporation.

What are they up to?

After the failed attempt of the traitor Guardian Master, Hexon, several Turncoat rebels all around Novus have begun attacking the cargo ships of the Accretian Empire, the Bellato Federation and the Holy Alliance of Cora. These terrorist attacks have caused delays in the deliveries of supplies and equipment from their homeplanets. Thus the race leaders have approached the Kartella Corporation for assistance.

The Kartella Corporation agreed to providing a discounted price on their wares but with the condition that each race must send 10 strong warriors, rangers, mystics and specialists and have them work for Kartella for 2 years.

The Corites and the Bellato agreed but the Accretians hesitated for they knew that Kartella is planning to increase its own private army to take control of Novus. Evidence of this are the mutant experiments in the abandoned Kartella Biolaboratory where the surviving creatures there are believed to be products of Kartella's attempt to create their own private and loyal army.

 Nevertheless, the Accretians agreed and so the trade contract was signed.

RF Online Novus Chip Assault Squad Tournament Feature Story

Our forefathers have taught us that history will and can repeat itself. The fall of Empires and Civilizations can be seen as the perfect example of how history can tell us that what has been done, can be done again. The Macedonian Empire toppled the Persian Empire who in turn was topped by the Roman Empire. The Incas, Mayans and Aztecs sought to rule one another in the Mesoamerican Regions but then were conquered by the Portuguese, Dutch and the Spanish.

Indeed, history is a cycle. But only because hate for our fellow mankind has led us to be like this. We aim to dominate and become the “alpha” of our species. And when there is an “alpha”, a ruling race that rose from the ranks of mere mortals, there will always be those who will praise them and side with them. And then there are those who will oppose them for when there is love given to authority, there will also be opposition, hate and rebellion.

There will always be Mutiny.

Last September 17, 2011, Saturday, three races from two different worlds collided in a battle this galaxy has never seen before. The chosen few from Vasteral and Omicron servers massed up to compete in the Novus Elite Squad Championship tournament to determine who will take the next step in reaching the pinnacle of Novus glory.

Prior to the Championship tournament, each server was tasked to deal as many last hits as they can to the opposing races’ Crag Mine Control Chip during each scheduled Chip War in each day. Factions and Guilds gave it their all as they competed for the coveted slots to become the Server Representative. At the end of the Server-wide competition, we have the guilds: Mutiny of the Bellato Federation, Mastermind of the Accretian Empire and Retaliation and Unforgiven, both from the Holy Alliance of Cora from Vasteral Server. From Omicron server we have Punishment, iskeri and CANNIBALS™ from the Accretian Empire while Omicron Guild from the Holy Alliance of Cora.

These factions from each server battled it out in a free-for-all, chaos filled bloodbath as they hungrily yearn to become the Server Representative. At the Vasteral Championships, Mutiny wiped out the Corites of the Unforgiven Guild while Retaliation was not too far behind as they trampled on the Accretians of Mastermind Guild. In the end, Retaliation and Mutiny were pitted once another and the Corites placed all their hope in breaking the solid wall which is the Federation’s winning streak once and for all. But Mutiny was not giving up that easily and they trash talked their way to a win.

In Omicron server, the Holy Alliance of Cora was pitted against three Accretian Teams. But during their battle against Punishment and CANNIBALS™, Omicron Corites showed no mercy and they sent the Accretians to the scrap heap.

The much anticipated Championship battle between the Holy Alliance of Cora and the Bellato Federation began with a display of the massive damage brought about by the Dark Force of Cora versus the supportive presence of the Light Force. In the end, the Light defeated the Dark, coupled with the deadly damage of the Catapult MAU and Advanced Hedge Hawk Guard tower combination, the Corites realized it was too much for them to handle.

And so our quest for the one who will be called “Elite” finally draws to a close, we finally realize that Hate fuels one’s drive to be victorious. Congratulations to Mutiny for bagging the Novus Chip Assault Squad Champion title! They have said that, “Haters make us famous!” and they can boast that they can say that again and again.

Indeed, they have proven true that history can repeat itself. But can they repeat what they have done last year?

Once more, they shall take the much difficult task of becoming a Champion, bearing the pressure and facing the overwhelming odds at the Ultimate Gaming event, Level Up Live 2011 at the World Trade Center.

Will they claim the crown of becoming an “Elite” or will they finally succumb to defeat? Will Mutiny make history and grab the throne of victory once more?  Find out as Mutiny goes head to head against the City under Siege VI Ultimate Champion at the Novus Elite Squad Tournament this November 5, 2011.

There will always be opposition. There will always be rebellion. There will always be hate.

And so, there will always be Mutiny.

After the failed assault in Sette Desert by the Turncoat Guardian Master Hexon, the Turncoat factions have fled to their hiding places and they bide their time to rally once more against the Empire, the Holy Alliance and the Federation. Only time will tell when they will threaten the three races with their sheer numbers and no one knows who will lead them to battle once more.

In the headquarters of the three races, all thoughts of the assault lay forgotten as they prepare for the end of the 9^th month in the Novus Planetary Cycle. Some have decided to visit their home planets, like those in the Bellato Federation who yearn to see their loved ones back at Planet Bellator. Most of the Corites and the Accretians however decided to stay in Novus to continue their quest for power as the Corites commune in droves, meditating and praying in their temples while the Accretians continue their exploration of the land and of plotting of a means to gain advantage of the other races.

It’s the weekend once more. Time for Rest and Relaxation for the tired soldier of Novus, don’t you agree?

Who wouldn't want a chance to gain the upper hand against their enemies and end this war once and for all? And so, they rest all doubts and continued to purchase items, equipments and cargo upon cargo of supplies without any qualms as to the consequence.

But the Accretians had a different view.

Race Administrator Adjutant 001B: "Begin uploading data. Source?"

A mechanical voice deep within the Race Administrator's pedestal said, "Sender is our Kartella Corporation spy. Unit's codename: Ordertaker." 

Race Administrator Adjutant 001B: "Clearance accepted. Processing...."

What the Accretian Unit saw upon processing the data caused him to curse and fidget within the confines of the pedestal. He was attached to the Colony's Central Network ever since the beginning of the Novus Occupation. He receives and transmits orders thru the network to all members of the Imperial Legion.

Though he has no problems with being assigned a "stationary" post, he sometimes would feel envious of the units that he sends in the battlefield. Nevertheless, Adjutant001B has absolute authority in the Planet Novus, not even the Archon or Overseer Blackdread would dare oppose him for he holds all the data gathered since the beginning of the First Novus Conflict.

"The Kartella CEO has made a directive to sell his wares and provide a 'take 2' promotion.", said Adjutant 001B to himself. "But this is a ruse, a plot to cover their true objective. Only the foolish fleshlings would believe this is all done in good faith by Kartella. The Imperial Colony must choose to act....and that time is now."

He accessed the Command.NET network and sent a message to all Accretian Units in Novus. "This is High Command Core of Novus, Adjutant 001B. All Accretian Units, prepare for a massive assault against the Kartella Corporation. We shall seize control of their organization and of their Bio-laboratory."

The heavy metal slab doors opened and a Kartella Agent has entered. It was none other than the Elementalist and he entered with a smirk on his face. He bowed when he entered and when he reached the bottom of the circular platform, he kneeled with one leg and faced the ground, waiting for the CEO to speak.

The CEO spoke with a throaty drawl and asked, "What news of your latest business venture, Elementalist or rather, Agent E?" 

The Elementalist spoke while facing the floor and said, "I bring good news. The Novus Citizens have flocked to our vendors and they have availed of the elemental accessories that I have made. It is only a matter of time until we meet our quota."

"Very good.", replied the CEO. "But we are far from victorious. My Master is still waiting for an opening in the blockade that the Guardian Masters have formed at the edge of the Novus Sector. It will take some time before one of his ships will be able to slip past the blockade. Once that happens, we must be ready to rally our allies: the Calliana and their Robo and Passer Army, the Turncoat groups, the Novajans, the Mutant horde and the Metal Elves. Only then will we be able to baptize this planet in blood and prepare for the return of the Lordmaster."

"For the mean time,", continued the CEO, "make the three races more agitated against once another. Let them obliterate each other and make them disorganized. Surely when they hear that the other race has purchased more of these accessories, they will not allow their own race to be left behind."

 "Indeed, my Lord.", replied the Elementalist.

Then there’s the Kartella Biological Laboratory. Experienced members of each race enter its depths, hoping to unlock the mystery of the Biolab. But its cold temperatures and onslaught of deadly mutants and overzealous Black Sign Turncoats have made it next to impossible to explore and gather data.

And so the Kartella Corporation have begun setting up stalls that sell a curious little item called “Roast sweet potato”. They have called it a “miracle root crop” and a “life saver” for it warms the body and immediately gives strength to the needy. Roasting it in stoves with blazing coals, the Ether of Heaven is now filled with these stalls owned by Kartella agents. The Bellato and Corites happily purchase them but the Accretians have no idea how they can make use of them as they no longer have stomachs and digestive organs to begin with. They watch hungrily as the flesh races enjoy the food. That is until simultaneous “PROT!” can be heard and the smell of boiled eggs. Laughter filled the place as the Accretians watched in merriment at the predicament of the Bellato and Corites while the latter, blushed as the digestive reaction took place.

Had your fill of Roast Sweet Potato lately? It’s the item that gives you 70% attack power but decreases your block and avoid rates. (Probably due to being humiliated with too much flatulence). This time, after descending the steps of the Ether Platform, the three races have gathered to greet the boss of the Kartella Corporation. There was silence in the air as the mysterious figure raised his hand and shown what was unmistakably, his hand stretching out his five fingers and then he said:

1. If you want to buy a bundle for your character, do so only WITHIN the time period set for the SPECIFIC WEAPON that is part of the bundle. You can buy as many bundles as you like.
2. For more accurate awarding of the Weapons use ONLY the Highest level character (Per Username) you have for that server and purchase the items only WITHIN the time period set for the SPECIFIC WEAPON that is part of the bundle.
3. Leave all purchased items for the bundle INSIDE THE BAGS OF YOUR CHARACTER. It is strongly advised that these items should NOT BE USED, SOLD, TRADED, AND STORED IN YOUR STORAGE until advised to do so by OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS.
4. Official announcements can only be found at the OFFICIAL RF website (www.rfonline.ph ) and at the RF SECTION of the Level Up! Community Forums (forums.levelupgames.ph )
5. There will absolutely be NO TRANSFERRING of Dark Weapons to other servers if you’ve bought your bundles on a day assigned to another weapon.
6. Be sure to only buy the bundles during the assigned promo day to avail your free weapon. Details above.
7. Awarding of the Dark Weapons for all servers will be done not later than July 4, 2011

The good news is, the server merge is running without a hitch. The huge amount of data that needs to be merged is what’s causing the long wait. A process like this can’t be accelerated, and both the RF-GM team and the CCR dev team would rather let the process continue instead of rushing things and causing errors.

Because of this, the estimated time of server availability is now tentative. However, the only thing we all need to do is wait until the merge is finished so that Vasteral will finally be yours to explore.

It’s time to sharpen those blades and ready those spells, because Vasteral is coming to RF Online!

 The following are the official process and procedures for the RF Online Philippines Server Merge provided by the Game Developer. Be advised that the Game developer, CCR Inc. will be the one who will be administrating the merger.

I. Server Names
The official names of the two servers are as follows:

    a.) Vasteral - For the merged servers of Verxial and Elixus.
    b.) Omicron – Will remain unchanged since it is not part of the merge

NOTE: Players in Omicron that have characters in Verxial and Elixus are strongly advised to still check their alternate characters before the merge.

Since this Server Merge only involves two servers, we will confirm with CCR if the Omicron server will also be inaccessible during the Merging of Verxial-Elixus. We will  update the players of Omicron as soon as we acquire updates from CCR.


II. Storage

    We strongly advise players to clean out all items and in-game currency that they have stored in the Coin Exchange NPC, because any items left in the storage will not be saved and therefore will be deleted after the merge process is completed. The RFO-PH team will not be responsible for any deleted items left in the storage after the merger and WILL NOT ENTERTAIN ANY RESTORATION REQUESTS.


III. Server Maintenance

    RFO-PH servers will be temporarily inaccessible on March 15, 2011 7:00AM, during the weekly RF Online Philippines Maintenance until further notice. Rest assured that we will inform the community on when the servers will be accessible through the official website (www.rfonline.ph) and forums.levelupgames.ph – RF Section.


IV. Character Recovery Information

    1.) After the servers merge, the maximum number of characters that can be recovered will be THREE (3).

        - Once the merge is completed, if you access the game, characters you have leveled up from the two servers will be shown in a window and you can choose 3 characters to recover.
        - No matter how many characters you had before the server merge, you can only have 3 characters in the merged server.
        - After character recovery, if there are available slots or if a character is deleted, you can recover the character from the previous servers.
        -We understand that you need to prepare your inventory before the merge. In line with this we will be enabling the character deletion feature for characters level 40 below so you can manage your storage accounts.



    2.) After server merge, newly created characters that have never been accessed (in-game) AFTER their creation will be excluded from recovery and will be deleted. If the character has been accessed even for 1 second, it will not be deleted and will be available for character recovery.

    3.) After the server merge, if you're character has the same name with other server, a name change will prompt.

        - During character recovery after the server merge, the one who chooses the character name first would have the right to use that name. If you have a character in Verxial, for example, that has the same name as a character in Elixus:

            1. Login character that you want to retain its name in the new server
            2. Enter desired name.
            -A system prompt will appear if the name you entered has been taken. You need to choose a different name.
            3.  Special Characters or ASCII will be disabled when renaming character names.

    4.) After the server merge, the item(s) left in the mail box of the previous servers will not be transferred to the recovered character. Please make sure to get all the items in your mailbox before the server merge.

    TIP: Make sure that the all the items you want to save are in the inventories of the 3 characters that you choose to be recovered. Any character that you do not choose will not be recovered along with the items in the character's inventory and therefore will automatically be deleted.

(Note: Racial Archons and Council Members within the two servers will also be reset)


V. Guild Fund and Creation Cost and Emblem Purchase

1.) During server merge, guild funds will reset. All existing guilds within the two servers will all be purged.

• The guild funds will be removed upon server merge, so please make sure to withdraw all guild funds prior to server merge.
• Lost guild funds due to server merge cannot be recovered.
• -Since the maximum game money that can be possessed by a character is 2 billion, please make sure to distribute it not above 2 billion per character.

•     A Character's existing contribution points will not be affected by the server merge.

•     During server merge, the buddy list will be reset.

• Characters that are inactive within the period of January 2010 to June 2010 will be deleted completely.
• Character that have logged in at least once from the period of November 2010 up to the present will not be included in inactive character purge
• Players are advised to log in any characters that they want to retain before the merge

The target date is March 15, 2011 for the merging of Verxial and Elixus into one server, one new battleground!

Exact steps and mechanics of the merge will be announced separately. Spread the word!

A New Divide

Within the forbidden depths of The Sanctuary, the orbiting satellite home of the Guardian Masters of Novus, there is a place that has been given the highest security and protection that the headquarters has to offer. The place itself is surrounded by a maze of corridors, with its walls made out of a hard, thick metal alloy preventing intruders from blasting their way through the room itself. Enforcer Vanguards patrol its corridors day and night. Coupled with optical and voice scanners with several algorithm passcodes and firewalls, compared to any other security vault, this sanctum is obviously designed to protect, period.

Inside, the vault was the size of a football field. The ceiling was nothing but pitch-black darkness, and anyone inside may very well feel like they were at the bottom of a very deep pit. The room itself was covered in darkness and the only source of light came from three mysterious objects found at its very center.

These three objects floated in mid-air. They shimmered and shone, their brilliance magnified. One of the objects hovered in the middle of a column of red light, as if the light was solid and served as the object’s container. Strange screeching noises were heard from the object as it hovered within the column of light.

The second object was tumbling up and down in mid-air within the cylindrical column of electric blue light where it was "contained" in. It seemed to be light as a feather and resembled an object that is suspended underwater.

The last object, contained in a green beam of light, was the smallest of the two and it was shivering every few seconds. It did not move for it was stationary and it gave the impression that it was heavy and compact.

Upon closer inspection, the three objects resembled flat, shiny, circular sheets of metal. But unlike any ordinary metal, they formed and reformed like water in zero gravity. Mercury, "the quick metal" has the same properties but this metal was forming and re-forming by its own accord within the pillars of light.

The Guardian Masters called this place the "Hall of Mirrors" for it housed the three objects that resembled mirrors. But these were no mere vanity items.

Nearby, a cylindrical podium hummed and beeped. It has a keypad with labels of an unknown language and a small screen showing the status of the three mirrors. Here and there lights flickered on and off as the Hall remained eerie and silent.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a clawed, metal arm reached for the controls on the podium and typed in a command. A blaring siren can be heard while red and orange lights came on from almost everywhere in the hall. A small metal cylinder rose from the surface of the podium and on it was a lever with black and yellow stripes all around it with large bold letters printed on the side saying: PROTOCOL 21611: PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

The tall, hulking figure in front of the controls grasped the lever with his metal hand. He pulled on it and pressed down. The metal cylinder on the podium sank back in its compartment as the siren continued to blare over the background. The caped Accretian walked away from the podium as if nothing happened and as he moved away, two of the mirrors floated away from their columns of light and moved towards a new column of light. In it, they began to revolve around one another like how satellite revolves around a planet.  On the podium, its screen displayed the following:

Other things that you need to take note of would be…

• Magdala ng cap, jacket, payong at tent para hindi mabasa kung sakaling umulan.
• Huwag muna pumila sa venue ng Nov 4 (Thursday). Sayang lang ang effort at Nov 5 ng 7:00 PM pa naman ang registration. Baka magkasakit pa kayo, di ba?
• Huwag magdala ng mamahaling mga gamit kung hindi naman talaga kailangan, para hindi mawala.

With the introduction of MyLevelUp’s new automated account management system, and LU! Mobile’s Lock/Unlock Account and Change Password via Mobile features, Level Up! gamers are now empowered to secure and protect their accounts from hackers.

Thus, effective September 17, 2010, Level Up! will implement a NO HACK COMPENSATION POLICY ACROSS ALL GAMES.

What does NO HACK  COMPENSATION POLICY mean?

LU!’s No Hack Policy means that we will no longer accept and reply to reports/tickets concerning hack cases, including requests for compensation on hacked accounts. Concerns not related to hacking, such as trouble in connection and bug reports will still be entertained through our Customer Support page.

Does this affect game policies, rules and sanctions?

Yes. The game policies including the corresponding sanctions and penalties for offenders have been revised to reflect this change.

Why has LU! implemented this policy?

The intention of this policy is to empower and stress to players that they are the first line of defense against hackers. This means that players should be responsible for the security and integrity of their accounts. But we will certainly not let you fight this battle unarmed.

What is LU! doing to help players combat hacking?

LU! has provided its community with the following tools to help them manage and safeguard their accounts quickly and easily:

As our promise to address the issue about the duped items polluting the RF community, stated below are the measures that we did to alleviate this issue.

The Dupe Wipe

The extended maintenance that we had today is due to these efforts, which lead to the deletion of some items that are most often duplicated. The items that have been deleted are listed below.

• Celebration box [small, medium, large]
• Ignorance box [small, medium, large]
• Favor Lucky box [small, medium, large]
• Lucky Set Gem of Exchanger
• 100% Pill

To address the loss of legal (those bought through the item mall) items, they will be returned in the form of Galactic Credits.

• Reimbursement of GC will commence once the servers are all up
• Traded item mall items will not be entertained and reimbursed.
• Consumed item mall items will not be entertained and reimbursed.
• Only item mall items bought from April 25 to June 9 (7:30am) will be reimbursed.

If you believe that an item mall item is not reimbursed after 6pm of June 10, please file a ticket under “Restoration” category with the following information:

• RF Game Username
• Character Name
• Server:
• Items bought / quantity:
• Approximate Date and Time of Purchase from the Item Mall:

Please note that this information will be checked and false claims will be sanctioned by Magna Carta.

The Compensation

To compensate for the lost game time, we will be having a x3 mods (x4 to premium subscribers) on PT, XP, drop and mine from the time the server goes up until 8am of June 11, 2009

Please understand that this is just one of the measures being undertaken, and such efforts are ongoing so that the game economy and item pools are brought back to their "normal" state as much as possible.

Level cap is now raised to Lv. 66. Leveling spots would be Outcast land and Bio Labs.

Premium Service
Premium accounts get additional benefits aside from the mods. Upon logging in, the accounts get a series of free items which vanish each time when the account is logged-out. It re-appears upon login provided their Premium account status is still active.

NOTE: There must be free space in the characters inventory to receive the free items.

7. How will the RF Team address the current issues in the game?
    Here are the resolution and answers to the following issues:
        i. Compensation
           Compensations will be addressed by giving out mods, promos and events, which will be announced separately.
        ii. Server crashes
            Currently known ways to crash the server are no longer effective. However, we continue to request our players to remain vigilant and report to us should they discovered new ways to bring the server down.
        iii. Duped items that are circulating in the servers:
              Due to server crashes, duped items have been rampant. We will continue to investigate characters that possess illegal items. Permanent suspension will apply to characters that obtained duped items illegally. Considering that duped items have been circulating for months already, this may take a while. Thus, we are asking for your help in reporting players that possess illegal items. On the other hand, we're closely coordinating with CCR to help us trace and delete all duped items. You have our assurance that we are seriously working on this.
        iv. Disabled Account creation
        Account creation has been disabled to prevent nuisance players from creating new accounts of which they use as a tool to bring down the servers. Registration will be enabled once the new patch is launched.

8. Are the common bugs fixed in this patch?
    - Common bugs such as bug pots, ninja move, and guild and character rank bugs are all fixed.
    - Level 50+ characters can now run for archonship.

9.Will there be a new server on the launch of the new patch?
    As of the moment, there won’t be any new server launching anytime soon.
    
10. Are there any changes with the PC requirements?
    PC Requirements for RF Online remain the same.

5. Wait for the Installation Progress bar to turn completely green. Once it has turned green, installation is complete.

6. Once installation has been completed, you can click the RF Online shortcut icon on your desktop to run the game.  You can also click the shortcut in Start > Programs > Level Up! Games > RF Online to begin.

FOUR PART INSTALLATION GUIDE

1. Save the files to a local folder. Make sure that all four files are in the same folder. This is to ensure that the installation will proceed without any problems.

2. Once you have downloaded the installer files, click on RF.part01.exe to begin the installation.

We will still continue investigation on characters that possesses illegal items. Permanent suspension will still apply to characters that obtained duped items illegally. Considering that duped items have been circulating for months already, this may take a while. Still, we're asking for help from players to report players that possess illegal items. Bloated Economy
This is also currently under discussion. This might come in forms of in-game events.

To end, the patch is here but the war is not yet over. We have more than 1 year worth mess to clean and we're still asking help from the players who still loves this game.
Like what I mentioned at the Live Blog, this patch are for all the players who loves this game, who stayed through thick and thin, who believed that there is still hope for this game, and for those who trusted the RF team and LU.

I got the chance to interview Wolfgang's Basti Artadi (thanks Lizza!) about their latest song, Novus is Burning. No, not personally. I wish! T_T

Cydie: How did wolfgang start and why did you guys fall to a slumber?

Basti: We started a long, long, long time ago -- just four guys who had a passion to make the same kind of music. There were many things that led to our hiatus, but i think it was ultimately many disappointments and promises that didnt happen that made us say, 'You know what -- let's lie low until something comes up that makes us want to do it again.'


Cydie: After 6 years, what made you guys come back?

Basti: The 'Alive' concerts and writing new material was the catalyst for everything happening now. In the end, if we didn't write music that we felt was good, we wouldn't be doing this. 'RP Death Squad' and 'Novus Is Burning' were a very big part because when we had finished writing them and looked at them, we knew that we still had something to say about music and that we still had the ability to write.


Cydie: Does this mean Wolfgang will be back for good?

Basti: We are still here -- we're just looking at things differently, not trying to burn ourselves out and concentrating more on quality as opposed to quantity.


Cydie: What made you guys create a song for RF Online?

Basti: RF Online approached us about doing a song for the game and we said sure. They asked us to pick a race to represent and we felt why pick a race when we can write a general song that could encompass the feeling of the game and its players and characters.


Cydie: How did you create the song? You really caught the whole idea of rf online.

Basti: Thanks, I just looked at it from a distance and asked myself, if I was in this world, what would I be feeling? What would I want to do to that S.O.B. in front of me and ultimately, the answer was obliterate him and everything else that gets in my way. haha


Cydie: If you are to play RF Online, what race will you choose and why?

Basti: I will opt out of this one, i feel that people take these things to heart and by choosing a side it would take away from the other. I am an equal opportunity person when it comes to destruction, haha


Cydie: Any message to your fans and RF Online players?

Basti: To the fans, I'd like to say THANK YOU for waiting patiently for us to release something new and to RF Online players I say, get him in your sights and blow the f****r away!!
